Privacy isn't
an upgrade.
It is a principle that must shape how WISP-19 is designed, how information is handled and how much control you have over your own experience.
Personal by design
The experience should adapt to your preferences and choices, without taking away your agency or prescribing what you should think.
Device-first thinking
Our design direction is to keep personal reflections on your device wherever possible. Any information that needs to leave your device must be explained clearly.
Clarity and control
You should be able to understand what information is used, why it is needed and what choices are available to you.
A transparent development commitment: WISP-19 is being developed towards a device-first privacy model. We will publish the precise data flows and controls before app release. We will not claim that every item of data stays exclusively on-device unless the released architecture verifies that claim.

Our current target for the app release is 28 November 2026. That date is subject to final privacy, security, reliability and product-readiness checks. If those checks need more time, we will move the date rather than compromise the experience or your trust.
